Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 65th Independence Day Celebration.
Nigeria gained her independence from her erstwhile colonial master October 1, 1960, and today marks its anniversary.
In a statement commemorating the anniversary, Dr Agbaje said that the government of Lagos State under the administration of Mr Babajide Sano – Olu is committed to improving the lives of Lagos residents.

“The Office of Rural Development extends heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians and Lagosians, particularly our resilient rural communities, as we celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
“This milestone reminds us of our collective strength and the unwavering commitment of the Sanwo-Olu administration to improving lives through rural electrification, road development, access to clean water, and community empowerment.
“Together, let us uphold unity, foster hope, and work toward a brighter and more prosperous future.”
